ARTIST STATEMENT
As a floral Artist my goal is to create arrangements that not only showcase the beauty of flowers themselves, but also tell a story. The theme of my work focuses on Flowers in Abstraction painted primarily in Acrylic on Canvas. I use a variety of colours, texture, and forms in my work to create a dynamic and visually interesting composition. Through a process of layering and texture I create a symphony of movement. I combine these elements in unexpected and harmonious ways. Each of my creations is unique and stands alone. My objective in creating my paintings is in my desire to fulfill an emotional response, rather than focusing on the subject matter.
