ABOUT THE RETREAT

Light on the Water — Watercolour Retreat

Join Vancouver-based artists Lisa Wolfin and Taisha Teal for a week of watercolour discovery on the shores of Lake Cowichan. Each day unfolds gently: a morning walk through the forest to find your perfect spot, painting florals in the garden, or setting up beside the lake as the light shifts on the water. Afternoons bring focused instruction, warm group sharing, and personalized feedback from both instructors. Together, Lisa and Taisha will guide you through landscapes, lake scenes, and florals, helping you blend colour intuitively, handle watercolour with confidence, and find your own creative voice. This retreat welcomes all skill levels. By the end of the week you'll bring home a collection of paintings you're proud of, and the skills and inspiration to keep creating long after you return.
